CLASS 2 DRIVERMONDAY - FRIDAY: START TIMES BETWEEN 01:30 - 04:30PAY RATE: £16.00 PER HOURWhat's in it for me?People Solutions are currently recruiting for Class 2 Drivers to join our well-established client based in Burton Upon Trent. Twelve months previous Class 2 Driving experience required for this role. There is a minimum of eight hours worked per day.Candidates must be prepared to do nights out every so often (this can be discussed over the phone). A night out allowance is paid to the driver on return to the depot. Must pass a driving assessment prior to start.What are the benefits?

Day to Day DutiesAs a Class 2 Driver with our client, you will:
  • Complete two to five drops per day
  • Deliver roller cages and totes
  • Operate a tail lift
  • Assist with handballing
  • Drive Category C vehicles safely and efficiently
  • Ensure all loads are safe and secure
  • Complete any necessary paperwork
Essential SkillsAs a Class 2 Driver for our client, you would need:
  • To be comfortable completing one night out a week
  • To be comfortable with early starts
  • To have at least 12 months previous Class 2 driving experience
  • To hold a valid UK Category C Driving Licence
  • To hold a valid CPC and Digi Card
  • To have no more than six points on Driving Licence for minor infringements
  • No major endorsement codes
Training
  • Industry related training and ongoing support throughout.
