Job Description:We are recruiting for a Finance Project Coordinator, a junior coordination role requiring planning, preparation, delivery and execution, ensuring the Team completes and finishes specific initiatives that have been started. It involves junior project management, strategic thinking, connecting the dots as well as communication and influencing.In this role you will work with Senior Leaders across the Europe Finance Team as well as other functions where required e.g. Communications. The role will operate across the Operational, Tactical and Strategic levels of planning and decision making.About the role
  • Coordinate, support and oversee various critical activities and projects of the DP World Europe Finance Team, on time with the correct quality, ensuring resources are allocated effectively, timelines are met, and ultimately desired outcomes are achieved
  • Project manage specifically assigned initiatives e.g. schedule, conduct, initiate action, implement, follow up, and ensure completion, providing Governance, Monitoring, Tracking, Reporting and Communication to leadership
  • Prepare required briefings, notes, presentations for Executive Leadership and Senior Leadership, ensuring they are positioned at the correct level i.e. Operational, Tactical, Strategic. Includes identification of the key messages, creation of the storyboard, content creation/coordination
  • Deliver both verbal and written briefings/update/presentations, both formal and informal to various levels of leadership
  • Challenge status quo of how the Finance Team pre, during and post meeting activities are conducted.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration and operational excellence within the Finance
  • Provide feedback and advice to both the CFO Europe and VP Transformationon the various initiatives, communication methods etc.
  • Build your stakeholder network to support your role.
Your Key Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, or related field. Experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. Master's degree in a relevant discipline is desirable.
  • 1-2yrs experience in business project planning, project coordination and administration
  • Driven and focused implementer with a finisher mindset who can ensure delivery on initiatives
  • Critical thinker with the ability to connect the dots and link operational, tactical and strategic elements
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Analytical with the ability to interrogate data sets and find gaps in logic
  • Ability to work at pace with a high degree of stress tolerance
  • Strong IT skills including Ms Office/Excel/Powerpoint/Visio
