Drive the brands' market-presence, market share and reputation amongst dealers, Key Account Customers, opinion-leaders and other stakeholders, while ensuring that profitability goals are met or exceeded.Role & ResponsibilityCapacity to interpret the market trend:
- Good skills in the interpretation of the market trends and activities and capability to figure out basic actions to prospect and convert into sales. Knowledge of the market and of the competitor activity.
- Prospecting and scouting dealers based on industry information.
- In collaboration with the back office select, organize, run, report and evaluate brand awareness/reputation forming activities like fairs, road shows, advertising campaigns, press-contacts.
- To attend all trade fairs in which DIPP participate including the KA open Days.
- Develop an extensive network of used equipment traders to facilitate trade in sales.
- Develop excellent working relationships with the DIPP service partners in the territory.
- Develop an internal network within DIPP to ensure customer centric responses to all field queries.
- The candidate has to be open mind to work with a team spirit, used to work with objectives both given by the company but also by himself in order to define a proper road map to achieve them.
- Sharing of data base and prospect list. Providing cross selling opportunities to the Bobcat and Doosan KA team.
- The candidate should be willing to travel extensively in the area of responsibility. This is not a responsibility but a characteristic of the position.
- Extensive travel through South East UK.
- Be the back-office's ear on the market and monitor/report the development of new trends in pricing, communication, products, customer needs and respective sales tools.
- Closely watch the situation in competitive distribution networks and try to leverage where possible and advantageous for DIPP
- Quality & quantity of reports to back office
- Plan, discuss and agree a rolling forecast plan that exceeds AOP and contains action plans to achieve the goals with the DIPP UK Sales Manager.
- Monthly forecast the demand for the territory under responsibility and proactively inform the back office about foreseen demand-changes in the market
- Accuracy of monthly and quarterly forecasting
- Education & Qualification: Business Administration - Masters Degree / Business Administration - Bachelors Degree / Allow Equivalent
- Experience: 5
- With 5/8 (3) years of experience in capital plant sales in the industrial goods sector
- Experience working in the sales, aftermarket and marketing function in multinational companies.
- Global Breadth: Multi-Country (
- Understanding of the functionalities within a dealership
- Knowledge of the different customer requirements by customer segment
- Knowledge of the characteristics of the CE market (in general and regional)
- Good knowledge and use of Power point and excel of MS Office
