This is an ideal role for a graduate considering a future in teaching or educational psychology.About the Role:
As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with subject teachers, providing academic support to students in small groups or 1:1. You'll help deliver engaging lessons in either Maths or Science, reinforce subject understanding, and play a vital role in supporting pupil progress across KS3 and KS4.You'll also:
- Assist in planning and resourcing engaging content
- Support students with special educational needs or those falling behind
- Help manage classroom behaviour and promote a positive learning environment
- Be involved in extracurricular clubs, interventions, or mentoring
- A dynamic, inclusive school in Wandsworth with a strong academic ethos
- Excellent experience for those applying for PGCE, School Direct, or Teach First
- Ongoing training and professional development

- A 2:1 or above in a Maths, Science or related degree (essential)
- Passionate about education and supporting young people
- A confident communicator, able to build strong relationships with students
- Patient, enthusiastic, and proactive
- Experience working with young people (e.g. tutoring, mentoring, coaching) is desirable
