- Act as the site expert in process technology and performance.
- Optimise plant operations to achieve cost-effectiveness, stability, and sustainability.
- Lead root cause analysis to investigate and resolve process-related issues.
- Oversee the development and ownership of Process Safety Management and Management of Change.
- Provide technical authority on process performance across the site.
- Translate operational and performance data into actionable improvement plans and business insights.
- Influence the design and execution of capital projects to enhance process efficiency.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and support long-term operational sustainability.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements through process and performance reporting.
- Collaborate with operations, maintenance, compliance, and procurement teams to align objectives and solutions.
We are looking for someone with the following:
- Chartered Engineer status with proven experience in an operational setting.
- Strong background in process control, risk management, and unit operations.
- Demonstrated expertise in leading process safety management and change management.
- Advanced analytical and planning skills for performance improvement and business insight.
- Ability to apply knowledge from other sectors to enhance energy from waste operations.
- Pragmatic and solution-focused mindset, able to address complex challenges effectively.
- Clear and confident communicator, capable of translating technical issues for diverse stakeholders.
- Collaborative and adaptable, with the ability to build strong cross-functional relationships.
- Starting salary of £60,000 – £70,000
