
Adult Social Worker

- Have experience from Adult's Social Work Services, within a UK Local Authority or the Private Sector.
- Have knowledge and experience of applying statutory legal frameworks and policies including the Care Act 2014, the Mental Capacity Act 2005, Making Safeguarding Personal, and Continuing Healthcare Frameworks.
- Root your practice in compassion, social work values and theories, understanding the why of what we do in our unique profession, to best promote people’s wellbeing.
- Be confident in working with situations of varying complexity and be able to make appropriate decisions quickly to support those in crisis, and to ensure people are seen and supported in a timely manner.
- Know how to work with our partner agencies to help people find solutions to maximise their independence and resilience, enabling people to take positive risks, and lead good lives.
- Have excellent interpersonal skills, experience of managing complex cases and a creative approach to problem solving and support planning.
