- Sell to account(s) in region, identify and pursue new business opportunities, develop key accounts, and maintain existing customer relationships.
- Build strong relationships with customers, internal teams, and external dealers.
- Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs and provide solutions.
- Develop commercial expertise across product lines, markets, sales processes, or customer groups.
- Influence policy and ensures delivery across large and/or diverse sales territories.
- Manage reports, forecast revenue, and track sales performance.
- Interprets internal and external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes or services.
- Utilise understanding of industry trends to inform decision making process.
- Collaborate with shared services to find creative solutions to address complex projects, product lines, markets, sales processes, or customers.
- Evaluate quality of information received and questions conflicting data for analysis.
- Uses multiple internal and external resources outside of own function to help arrive at a decision.
- Degree and/or Master's degree from an accredited university or college
- Significant experience in commercial aerospace sales is a must
- Expansive list of customer relationships in assigned region including OEMs, airlines, and aftermarket agencies
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for interacting with customers and internal teams.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Experience in sales, negotiation, and customer relationship management.
- Familiarity with the aerospace industry product lines and related technical aspects.
- Demonstrated ability to analyse and resolve problems.
- Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects.
- Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
- Salesforce experience preferred.
- Flight Deck/Lean/Kaizen experience.
