The successful applicant will be joining the Despatch department and will provide support to the Grange Mill goods despatch and administration function.Post: Full time and to cover maternity leaveSalary:Competitive and commensurate with qualifications & experienceProbationary period: 6 monthsLocation: Grange MillCandidate ProfileThe successful candidate will take personal accountability for providing a responsive and effective service and should possess the below qualities:

  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
Key responsibilities:
  • Organise and manage the administration of Health & Safety /Environmental documentation.
  • Organise and manage the administration of vehicle/equipment hire.
  • Place Purchase Orders as directed by the Production Manager and Engineering Managers. Record goods received and the match on invoices against the appropriate delivery notes.
  • Assist with goods despatch including holiday cover.
  • Assist with transport requirements including holiday cover.
  • Work closely with customer services to ensure customer requirements are fulfilled.
  • Deal with all incoming telephone calls, receive visitors into the Grangemill site.
Experience or skills that would be desirable:
  • Previous experience in a despatch/ administrative role (Preferred)
  • Effective organisational and time management skills: (Preferred)
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely: (Preferred)
  • Work under own initiative and be a good team player (Preferred)
