You will contribute to the success of Ball by performing tasks and providing services to support the plant's production goals and overall business plans.Your key responsibilities include:
  • To ensure the end of the production process continues to flow and the Palletiser is kept running at all times in line with production plans.
  • Complies with and practices, policies and procedures as specified in plant and corporate directives for the safe performance of the work assignment.
  • Take ownership for the production line, inspire yourself and others to achieve world class manufacturing practices and results, avoiding line backups and resolving any mechanical issues.
  • Conducts inspection of in-process or finished product to ensure quality targets are achieved.
  • Takes care of the work area and equipment to create a safe and efficient work environment, responsible for keeping the area clean and tidy with good housekeeping practices.
  • Initiate and support lean and improvement initiatives.
What are we looking for?
  • Ability to follow instructions and work in a safe manner.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Sound communication skills, ability to clearly explain processes and carry out effective shift handovers, therefore English language skills are essential - written, verbal and reading.
  • Experience of working in a fast paced, manufacturing environment.
  • A Mechanical background would be advantageous.
