This is a business with global reach and offers career progression & training.Dimensional Calibration Engineer duties:As a Dimensional Calibration Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
- Performing dimensional calibration of a variety of gauges, fixtures, and measuring instruments
- Ensuring calibrations meet internal and national standards (UKAS experience is highly desirable)
- Recording and maintaining accurate documentation and calibration certificates
- Supporting internal audits and process improvement initiatives
- Communicating with customers or departments to ensure clarity on technical findings
- Solid experience in dimensional calibration (e.g., micrometers, verniers, height gauges, thread gauges)
- Familiarity with metrology and traceability standards
- Experience working within a UKAS-accredited environment (or understanding of ISO 17025)
- A methodical mindset and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
- Strong communication and team collaboration skills
