Up to £70,000 (DOE) + 10% bonusPermanentAre you a quality-driven leader ready to make a real impact?Our client, a fast-growing manufacturer in the healthcare and custodial sectors, is on the hunt for an experienced Head of Quality to build and lead their Quality function from the ground up. This is a senior leadership role with the chance to shape a proactive, world-class quality strategy across design, manufacturing, and commissioning—ensuring every product meets the highest safety and performance standards.What You’ll Do:
- Lead and shape the company-wide Quality Assurance strategy.
- Design, implement, and maintain a robust centralised Quality Management System (QMS).
- Drive excellence across product development, manufacturing, and on-site commissioning.
- Build, mentor, and inspire high-performing teams across QA, manufacturing quality, certification, and commissioning.
- Report on quality performance, risks, and improvements directly to the Board.
- Champion a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
- Proven leader in high-value manufacturing, ideally within healthcare, medical, or regulated sectors.
- Experience building and running QA systems and teams from scratch.
- Deep understanding of product and manufacturing quality assurance.
- Hands-on, methodical, and confident influencing at all levels.
- Outstanding leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
