
Senior Civil Technician

- Manage and maintain project documentation using digital platforms and common data environments.
- Develop 3D models for levels, earthworks, and drainage, and facilitate data exchange across software such as Civil 3D, InfoDrainage, and Revit.
- Prepare highway alignments, cross-sections, schedules, and technical submission packages.
- Produce detailed drawings for external works, drainage systems, and SuDS layouts.
- Identify and resolve below-ground utility conflicts through coordination with relevant stakeholders.
- Update 2D drawings based on feedback from authorities and contractors.
- Delegate tasks to junior technicians and coordinate with other design disciplines.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and approving bodies to resolve design queries.
- Monitor task progress and advise on delivery timelines.
- Support quality assurance and compliance with standards.
- Mentor junior team members on technical and drawing-related matters.
- Assist with resource planning and provide constructive feedback.
- Respond to site and design team queries.
- Prepare technical submissions for highways (S278/38/50), sewers (S104/185), and SAB approvals.
- Candidate Profile
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and detailing.
- Solid knowledge of the design process, including work stages and approval procedures.
- Proficient in AutoCAD and Civil 3D; experience with InfoDrainage is desirable but not essential.
