OverviewAs a Senior Carer in Norwich, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of others in the area. You'll work in various healthcare and social care settings across Norwich as a Medicare People Senior Carer, providing high-quality, advanced support to individuals who require assistance due to factors such as age, illness, or disability.We have a number of Senior Carer shifts available across different settings in Norwich.What You'll Do
  • Provide expert care tailored to individual needs, ensuring dignity and comfort.
  • Support with personal care tasks including bathing, dressing, and hygiene, while promoting independence.
  • Assist patients with mobility and transfers, utilising safe handling techniques and mobility aids.
  • Lead on medication administration, ensuring accurate and safe delivery while following strict protocols.
  • Supervise and mentor junior carers, offering guidance and leadership in care practices.
  • Facilitate nutritional support, including meal preparation, feeding, and hydration, in line with dietary needs.
  • Build strong relationships with patients and families, providing emotional support and reassurance.
  • Monitor and record patient health changes, reporting promptly to healthcare professionals.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and positive environment, fostering well-being for those under your care.
  • Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure optimum care outcomes.
  • Uphold clear and empathetic communication with patients, families, and colleagues.
  • Ensure accurate, up-to-date documentation in accordance with regulatory and organisational guidelines.

  • Epilepsy Management Experience

What You'll Bring
  • A minimum of 12 months relevant Senior Carer experience in the UK.

  • Experience in medication administration and a sound understanding of care planning.
