We live by a simple set of values: to delight our customers, maximise our efficiency, be socially responsible and be an employer of choice.We are now recruiting for LGV/HGV C+E Class 1 Drivers on a full time, permanent basis based for various shift patterns in Newton AbbotJob DescriptionYour role will include you operating refrigerated articulated and rigid vehicles, delivering and collecting chilled, frozen and ambient stock from Local and Regional Distribution Centres as well as local convenience stores for a major retailerSalary/Basic Rates:
  • Days – Guaranteed annual salaries of between £34,736 to £39,598
  • Nights - Guaranteed annual salaries of between £37,024 to £42,208
  • Guaranteed 50 hours per week
  • Overtime paid at an enhanced rate
Shifts: Various shifts & start times across the week
  • Monday to Friday – Days and Nights
  • Tuesday to Saturday – Days
  • 5 from 7 – Weekend Working

Qualifications
  • Possession of LGV C+E Licence
  • Current DCPC
  • Newly qualified drivers considered
  • Knowledge of Road Transport Directive and Current Drivers Hours Desirable but full training can be provided
  • Excellent Communication Skills
  • Ability to Work Effectively and Accurately in a Fast Paced Environment
  • Effectively Prioritise Workload in Order to Meet Set Deadlines
