- Deliver operational excellence across a range of HR processes including HR Advisory, Employee Relations, Recruitment, Contracts, FOI requests, DBS checks, and Invoice management.
- Resolve payroll-related issues by acting as a key liaison for the HR team, supporting the payroll function and escalating issues across the Council.
- Engage in non-complex casework regarding absence management, grievance, and disciplinary matters as required.
- Prioritise workloads efficiently and respond to urgent requests, with guidance from the Team Leader and service manager.
- Support HR functions by responding to customer demands, casework, absence data, recruitment, and workforce reporting.
- Serve as a first point of contact for HR, resolving process or policy application queries, and directing requests to relevant colleagues.
- Use HR systems to record work actions accurately, ensuring compliance with Data Protection Act, GDPR, and confidentiality standards.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement within HR functions to enhance efficiency and reduce support requests.
- Develop strong working relationships with stakeholders and collaborate on innovative HR solutions.Essential Criteria:
- Understanding of Council database usage and data management.
