
Wing Structure Analysis Placement (12.5 months)

- Solving structural analysis problems within Static Stress, F&DT and FEM, through the use of appropriate AIRBUS methods, processes and tools. This will include extracting information from previous analysis and/or carrying out FEM analysis and performing calculations to justify structural performance;
- Creating appropriate documentation;
- Communicating your analysis to mentors and/or more senior engineers;
- Contributing to structural sizing and trade studies to support the wing design;
- You will be involved in the dynamic process of aircraft wing modifications, which will require alignment and integration between different teams;
- Next to your everyday work, you will also be asked to outline a set of personal development goals, which can include anything from learning Java or Python to networking and discovering how the business works.
- Studying towards a degree in Aerospace Engineering, or equivalent;
- Some knowledge of overall aircraft structural design principles and techniques;
- Good problem-solving skills and a can-do attitude;
- Not afraid to propose new ideas to solve problems;
- Programming and optimisation skills would be beneficial;
- Languages and experience of a wide range of cultures is beneficial;
- You are someone who collaborates well within a team.
