
Senior Account Manager, Medical Education Platform

- Achieve individual annual sales target based on selling to Pharmaceutical/Biotech clients across the offering suite to attain sales quotas as assigned.
- Actively prospect and leverage potential new business opportunities within specified customer account(s).
- Deploy extensive external and internal networking to develop contacts and engage with sponsors to drive your opportunity pipeline e.g., generating leads
- Lead key strategic and large opportunities that are critical to achieving global plan and quarterly financial goals
- Work with the wider team to co-ordinate your approach with to drive sales, leveraging support where required
- Support the build out of account plans, and develop/evolve client and therapy area specific account strategies based on current client Life Sciences ecosystems and maturity
- Assess and anticipate business risks due to environmental changes impacting our relationship with the account such as the competitive setting, account product portfolio, strategy, and R&D pipeline
- Assess any additional client potential within white space analysis to directly drive revenue & growth
- Support delivery teams with customer feedback compliantly to develop and adapt current solutions, and to create new & improved offerings
- Actively lead proposal preparation and proposal defence meetings.
- Proven track record of selling directly to Pharmaceutical/Healthcare clients: Tech Platforms, Data, Medical affairs, Independent medical education (latter strongly preferred)
- Extensive knowledge of Customer account management and the pharmaceutical industry
- Good knowledge of medical communications, digital publishing/media, and pharmaceutical medical/ digital marketing would be beneficial
- Demonstrated ability to influence senior level execs both internally and at customer organizations
- Ability to work independently and engage wider go to market stakeholders across organization both internally and externally
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams, a true team player
- Proven track record at mid-level and high-level contacts
- Excellent Business/Industry awareness and a thorough understanding of industry trends and impact on the business
- Demonstrated ability to work creatively in a fast-paced environment
