Full timeSalary: 44.194.91Mind Professionals are seeking a dedicated and skilled Psychologist to join our mental health inpatient services team. With over 130 beds the Hospital provides high dependency rehabilitation, secure, psychiatric intensive care, and acute services, offering a range of specialist recovery pathways, all at one site. Located in Hertfordshire, within a purpose-built facility and spacious grounds, the hospital also provides acute and psychiatric intensive care, medium and low secure services, and a community focused rehabilitation ward.Requirements:A valid and current license to practice as a psychologist.Experience working in a clinical setting, preferably within mental health services.Expertise in evidence-based psychological assessment and intervention.Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.Ability to work independently and in line with professional guidelines and ethical standards.Dedication to continued professional development and learning.Responsibilities:Conduct evidence-based psychological assessments as needed, tailoring interventions to meet the specific needs of the patients.Collaborate with the multi-disciplinary team to contribute to care planning, reviews, and overall treatment strategies.Facilitate formulation, reflective practice, and debrief sessions to support team members in their work.Contribute to audit and research initiatives as directed by the line manager, helping to enhance our understanding of mental health practices.Provide psychological guidance and consultation to other professionals when applicable, promoting a holistic approach to patient care.Work autonomously while adhering to professional guidelines, ethical standards, and the team's policies and procedures.Maintain accurate and confidential patient records.Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in the field of psychology and integrate this knowledge into your work.For more information in relation to the above vacancy or any other of our locum or permanent opportunities please contact the recruitment team at Mind Professionals on 01223 813838 or email your CV at recruiters@mindprofessionals.com.Mind Professionals - Why work with us?
