  • As a BDM, you will take ownership of your region, building strong relationships with electrical wholesalers, increasing brand awareness, and driving profitable growth.
  • You will work closely with the senior sales and marketing teams to deliver campaigns, develop accounts, and provide solutions that meet customer needs.
  • Full product training will be provided along with a clear progression pathway as the business expands.
Key ResponsibilitiesBuild and manage relationships with wholesalers in your regionProactively develop new and existing accounts through regular customer contact, both in person and via video meetingsUnderstand customer needs and recommend appropriate solutionsContribute to sales and marketing strategies and campaigns to grow revenue and marginDevelop and maintain strong product knowledge to act as a credible expertInput into forecasting and business planningAbout YouWe are looking for a self-motivated, results-driven salesperson who thrives on building strong business relationships and delivering growth.You will have:Experience in sales and account management, ideally within the electrical wholesale sectorExcellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skillsThe ability to think strategically and commerciallyConfidence using Office 365 and CRM systemsA positive outlook and alignment with the company’s valuesLighting-specific experience is not essential, full training will be provided.What’s on OfferCompetitive base salary: £45,000 (up to £50,000 for exceptional candidates)Commission: £12,000 OTE (paid quarterly, with potential to exceed targets)Annual profit shareCar allowancePension and life insurance25 days holiday plus bank holidaysEnhanced maternity and paternity benefitsLong service award and employee assistance programmeClear career progression opportunitiesInterview ProcessInitial informal video interviewFinal interview at head office, including a short presentation:
