Our people are the cornerstone of our success, and we pride ourselves on delivering outstanding customer service and operational excellence.About the RoleWe have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Senior Import Coordinator to join our busy Heathrow office. This role requires a proactive, organised, and customer-focused individual with strong knowledge of import procedures and customs compliance.Key ResponsibilitiesManage all aspects of the import process from start to finish.Complete customs procedures accurately and on time to meet internal and regulatory deadlines.Liaise with customers, internal teams, and third parties to ensure all necessary information is communicated effectively.Resolve minor customer issues, disputes, and complaints in a professional manner.Ensure documentation is accurate, up to date, and correctly uploaded into the system.Support the team during periods of absence or holidays.Attend customer meetings and identify opportunities to promote additional services.Assist with training and knowledge sharing across the team.Meet tight deadlines while maintaining high attention to detail.Support continuous improvement initiatives within the import function.Perform other duties as required for the smooth and efficient operation of the department.Required Skills & ExperienceGCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English – Grade 4/C or above.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong working knowledge of ASM Sequoia and CargoWise systems.Solid experience with:Home Use / CFSP / Warehousing / Bonds / T1's / NCTSIncoterms and freight rate calculationsProfiles and rate structuresStrong attention to detail and accuracy.Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.Ability to build effective working relationships with colleagues and customers.Positive, proactive attitude with a commitment to delivering excellent service.What We Offer25 days annual leave plus bank holidaysCompany pension schemeDeath in service cover (3x salary, increasing to 6x with pension enrolment)Employee Assistance Programme (EAP)Cycle to Work SchemeRange of voluntary benefitsAdditional InformationEV Cargo Global Forwarding reserves the right to close the vacancy early if a high volume of applications is received.
