- Develop and implement project plans for NHP projects or programmes, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
- Lead and mentor the NHP project or programme team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Identify, assess, and manage risks and issues within NHP projects, developing effective mitigation and contingency strategies.
- Ensure NHP projects or programmes are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards, using relevant project management methodologies and standards.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with NHP project or programme stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and engagement.
- Monitor and report on the progress and outcomes of NHP projects or programmes, using appropriate metrics and indicators.
- Evaluate the impact and benefits of NHP projects or programmes, using evidence-based methods and tools.
- Post-graduate level professional qualification in project management (must be internationally recognised).
- Degree in a relevant field (preferable).
- Extensive experience in Health projects, such as hospitals, clinics, or research facilities
- Strong contract administration skills, especially with NEC contracts.
- Commercially astute, with the ability to manage large budgets and resources.
- Knowledge of the UK Department of Health and Social Care's management systems and tools.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
