- Screen safeguarding concerns and initially gather information to assess needs.
- Conduct Section 42 Enquiries, ensuring all statutory responsibilities are met to protect vulnerable adults.
- Perform thorough risk assessments and develop effective safety plans tailored to each situation.
- Undertake mental capacity assessments to ensure proper support and action plans are in place.
- Apply the principles of Making Safeguarding Personal, focusing on outcomes that improve the individual’s life.
- Collaborate actively with key partner agencies to provide holistic and effective safeguarding interventions.Requirements for the Social Worker:
- Possess a degree or equivalent qualification in social work.
- Be currently registered with Social Work England.
- Demonstrate significant frontline experience working as a qualified Social Worker within the UK Social Services.
- The ability to drive and have business cover is essential for this hybrid role based in Medway.
