- Maintenance: Remotely monitor building systems for performance, alarms, and trends to identify inefficiencies and abnormalities.
- BMS Service: Manage the day-to-day processing of support tickets via the BMS and CAFM platforms, ensuring that calls are logged, tickets are processed, and management team are kept up to date.
- Remote Configuration: Develop, modify and troubleshoot BMS control logic and sequence of operation for HVAC, lighting and auxiliary systems using platforms such as Trend, Tridium, Honeywell Siemens or Schneider Electric.
- Remote Assistance: Support remote commissioning and troubleshooting efforts with on-site teams.
- Monitor: Utilise remote management systems to remotely monitor and verify correct operation and identify performance issues.
- Mobilisation: Assist the BMS engineers with UAT testing and reviews of new sites.
- Testing: Conduct remote functional testing of BMS points and sequences to ensure they meet the design intent.
- Compliance: Ensure remote engineering practices comply with industry standards, project specifications and cybersecurity protocols.
- Learning and Support: Participate in internal training, certifications and product specific updates.
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Equivalent experience or technical certification in controls/BMS will also be considered.
- Strong interest in Building automation, HVAC systems, or controls systems engineering.
- Familiarity with BMS platforms (e.g. Trend, Tridium, Distech, Siemens, Schneider).
- Basic understanding of IT Networking and BMS logic
- Strong Analytical and problem solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively when working remotely.
