The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of industry experience, fantastic presentation skills and an encyclopedic knowledge of brands.Job description:
  • Working at a Mid-weight level within a project, working to timelines and budgets.
  • Attending project/client meetings to be briefed on new projects.
  • Sourcing FF&E items to fulfil a brief, often working on multiple areas at the same time.
  • Producing FF&E specifications to a high standard.
  • Producing FF&E presentations and packs for client meetings.
  • Carry out where necessary the procurement of FF&E products.
  • Mentoring and supporting Junior FF&E Designers.
  • Attending project meetings and give input on developing concepts, drawing on your extensive FF&E knowledge to contribute to the overall design.
  • Producing FF&E presentations and packs for client meetings.
  • Nurture relationships with suppliers and suggest new contacts, keep up to date with new advancements within FF&E, and assist in keeping the FF&E library ordered & functioning.
Skills necessary:
  • An extensive understanding of material selection, furniture, lighting, with an encyclopedic knowledge of brands, contract furniture suppliers & finishes.
  • Demonstrable experience in producing FF&E specifications to a very high standard.
  • Proficiency in Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and Excel.
  • Some experience in using CAD software would be a bonus.
  • Ability to create conceptual designs and provide input into developing concepts.
  • Ability to hit the ground running, multi-task, manage your own time well and be self-motivated.
  • Excellent communication skills: written, visual and verbal communication. Ability to succinctly communicate concepts and information to a variety of people involved in the project: in house, external 3D visual artists, clients, and contractors. Strong English is essential.
  • Fantastic presentation skills are a must.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Able to work efficiently to tight deadlines.
  • A personable, positive, confident, and grounded demeanor.
