The Onshore Cable Construction Manager is a key manager role within the Offshore Renewables Business, focussing on the delivery of large-scale offshore wind projects of East Anglia Two in the UK.Belonging to the Project Services team and reporting to the Onshore Works department manager within the Transmission department and the Onshore Cable Project Manager, The Onshore Cable Construction Manager will be responsible for the management and coordination of all the contractors involved in the Site activities throughout the onshore cable corridor of the EA1N and EA2 Projects. This role will be located on Site to ensure a full compliance with Contract & Programme requirements for each contractor whilst ensuring full compliance with CDM regulations as well as ensuring quality, best practices and excellent Health, Safety and Environmental performance applied throughout all works.Key Tasks
- Construction Manager for all Onshore Cable and Landfall HDD works (from an onshore perspective).
- Management and Coordination of Site Managers and Client Reps to ensure safe delivery of the Client role (under CDM regulations) to a number of contractors.
- Health and Safety legislation under CDM 2015 Regulations monitoring compliance.
- Management and coordination of all contractors on site to ensure delivery of the onshore works construction programme in compliance with the overall project programme.
- Compliance with all site environmental legislation and monitor all agreed mitigation
- Attendance at daily/weekly/monthly progress meetings
- Production of weekly/monthly progress reporting

Experience in delivering civil engineering/construction Schemes within the power sector
Extensive knowledge/background in construction management and site management delivering similar work schemes
Experienced with CDM, Health and safety and hold site management certification
Full Clean Driving Licence
Proficient in IT and software packages such as Microsoft
Full First Aid certification
