
C&I Engineer

- Support process engineering teams in the development and review of Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs).
- Assist in the selection and specification of field instrumentation, including flow, pressure, temperature, and level measurement devices.
- Develop and maintain instrument data sheets, loop diagrams, and control philosophies.
- Contribute to the design and documentation of PLC, DCS, and SCADA system architectures, including I/O allocation, communication protocols, and network topologies.
- Prepare detailed control system specifications, covering both hardware and software requirements for PLCs, DCS, and SCADA platforms.
- Support the development of control room layouts and HMI/SCADA interface designs, ensuring ergonomic, operational, and cybersecurity best practices are followed.
- Participate in HAZOP (Hazard and Operability) studies, SIL assessments, and other safety-related reviews.
- Ensure all designs comply with relevant industry standards, regulatory requirements, and project specifications.
- Compile and maintain instrument indexes, I/O lists, and signal schedules.
- Prepare and review technical documentation for procurement, construction, and commissioning phases.
- Work closely with electrical, mechanical, and process engineers to ensure integrated design solutions.
- Provide technical support during installation, testing, and commissioning phases of projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Relevant experience in C&I design within the engineering, energy, or industrial sectors.
- Familiarity with PLC/DCS platforms such as Siemens, Rockwell, Schneider, ABB, or equivalent systems.
- Experience with AutoCAD, or similar design tools is desirable.
- Solid understanding of relevant engineering standards, including IEC, BS, and applicable industry regulations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Experience working in nuclear, renewables, or other process-intensive industries.
- Knowledge of functional safety and SIL lifecycle management.
