- Edit engaging short-form video content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, Meta ads, and emerging platforms.
- Repurpose influencer, UGC, and brand shoots into fresh social-first video assets.
- Deliver fast-turnaround edits while maintaining high brand and creative standards.
- Experiment with pacing, transitions, music, and captions to maximise attention and retention.
- Generate platform-specific creative ideas that balance trend-driven and evergreen content.
- Develop storyboards, shot lists, and quick-pitch decks for campaigns and reactive content.
- Work closely with brand and performance teams to ensure creative aligns with marketing goals.
- Shoot content in-house for Shark Home, Ninja, and Shark Beauty-covering product demos, lifestyle storytelling, tutorials, and beauty transformations.
- Stay hands-on with camera equipment, lighting, and sound for social-first shoots.
- Coordinate with freelance videographers/photographers when larger productions are required.
- Partner with the performance marketing team to test and iterate creative based on analytics.
- Monitor content performance, trends, and platform updates to inform new creative approaches.
- Ensure each asset is optimised for aspect ratio, duration, and platform best practice.
- Work across social, PR, influencer, and brand marketing teams to bring product launches to life.
- Collaborate with designers, copywriters, and community managers for end-to-end content delivery.
- Be proactive in suggesting creative improvements, identifying gaps, and pitching fresh ideas.
- Demonstrable experience in social-first video editing and content creation (agency or in-house).
- Strong knowledge of TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and Meta ads formats.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, Photoshop, and TikTok's native editing tools.
- Confident shooting on DSLR, mirrorless, or iPhone rigs, with a good eye for framing, lighting, and movement.
- Portfolio demonstrating short-form storytelling and social trend fluency.
- Understanding of paid social creative optimisation and how to drive performance.
- Highly organised, able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- A collaborative team player with a proactive, can-do approach.
- Bonus: Motion graphics or graphic design experience.
