• Typical store deliveries (pallets or cages but they have said it’s kerb side deliveries
• Operate and drive various 7.5 Tonne vehicles in a safe and efficient manner to and from delivery locations
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Will cover areas including Swindon, Gloucestershire, South Wales, Cornwall
• Some stores will be locked when they deliver, so they will need to unlock the building and deliver then lock up again etc
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers
• Report any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management
• Assist with loaded and unloading of cargo as needed

• Hold a valid UK Category C1 Licence
• Have a minimum of twelve months experience driving C1 vehicles if under age 23 or six months if over age 23, for our client’s insurance purposes
• No more than three penalty points for minor infringements and no major endorsement codes
• Hold a valid UK CPC Card and UK Digi Card
• Must be able to speak and read a good level of English
• Punctuality and excellent time keeping skills
• Have a good understanding of traffic laws and regulations
• Effective communication skills

• Experience driving any commercial vehicles
• Previous experience in multi drop experience

• Driving assessment must be passed and this will involve practice and theory
• The assessment will include highway code, working time directive and bridge strikes
• The practical driving assessment will last approximately one hour
