We are looking for a highly motivated Health Care Assistant who will join us on our 14 bedded Gynaecology Ward. The successful applicant will be expected to work to our high standards of patient care and service delivery. We provide gynaecology training in a supporting and welcoming environment. Candidates must have completed their care certificate and training in obsevations and venepuncture is desirable.Our multidisciplinary team, deliver care for patients who are undergoing gynaecology surgery, such as hysterectomy's, cystectomy's, laparoscopic and or laparotomy surgery. In addition, we also care for acute emergency patients in our assessment area.The pace can be fast but job satisfaction is high. Do you fancy a new challenge?   • Under the direction of a Registered Health Care Professional ensure a high standard of service provision within ward/department, by practicing effective clinical and administrative preparation, effective communication and care delivery, prioritising workload appropriately and contributing to service improvements
  • Participate in giving compassionate high quality personal care to patients prioritising appropriately and developing competencies that safeguard practice
  • Maintain accurate and timely records.
  • Develop positive relationships with patients, families, and carers.
  • Prioritise own workload and that of junior staff.
  • Be responsible for planned care and tasks delegated from a Registered Healthcare Professional.
  • Undertake tasks and workload activities whilst ensuring that their practice is guided by standard operating procedures and established protocols.
