Live-in Care workers are a massive part of the care industry and are exceptional carers.Professional Live-in Carer Responsibilities:Companionship - conversing with the older person, spending time together and providing emotional support.Daily Living - Assisting with washing, getting dressed, and, if needed, continence support.Personal Care - help clients to get dressed, showering and looking after a client's hygiene.Providing mobility support - some consumers require assistance getting around their homes.Medication supervision - all following the customer's care planHousehold duties/Chores - Cleaning, vacuuming, and washing clothesMeal preparation and cookingPet Care - Feeding pets, walking dogs and taking them to the vets if neededDaily Activity & Public Outings - assistance with duties such as grocery shopping, medication pick-up or taking a client to appointments.Other medical assistance - additional first-aid training is offered for more sophisticated support needs.Essential Requirements & Previous ExperiencePrior caring experience is useful, but it is not required when taking on the position of a live-in CAREGiver with Home Instead Enfield.
