- Draft and negotiate the full suite of contractual documentation in connection with the establishment and delivery of purpose-built data centres across Europe.
- Negotiate agreements with suppliers of dark fibre, lit fibre, colocation and server integration services.
- Advise on laws and regulations (including environmental) relating to digital infrastructure and partner with legal colleagues across the globe to drive the development and roll-out of standard policies and template agreements to improve efficiency and risk management.
- Distil complex information to deliver clear, precise and pragmatic advice to the business and support senior leadership, including in relation to decisions for strategically significant data systems infrastructure projects.
- Engage with contractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders (including our government relations team) to advocate and represent the company's interests in relation to digital infrastructure development.
- Draft, review and negotiate a range of technology contracts including software licences, SaaS agreements, development contracts, outsourcing and other service provision agreements, and cloud-based service model agreements.Qualifications:Minimum Qualifications
- Strong post-qualification experience in-house and/or in a reputable law firm working in relevant sectors.
- Experience in providing legal support for complex projects, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and advising on risk management.
- Experience of working collaboratively to develop new documentation and best practices and experience of implementing legal processes in a fast-paced international environment which enables the business to scale.
- Exceptional team spirit, an open mind, and a willingness to take the initiative on a wide range of projects.Preferred Qualifications
- Digital Infrastructure and Edge Networking sector experience (for example working with hyperscalers or large telcos).
- Adaptable and comfortable operating in a fast-moving, high growth environment.
- Pragmatic and solutions-focused with the ability to offer commercially viable alternatives as part of risk management.
- Outstanding stakeholder fluency and engagement.
- International mindset with an ability to adapt to different contracting jurisdictions and cultural norms.
