Salary: Competitive DOE up to £60kAbout the RoleStep into a leadership position with a rapidly growing engineering team that specialises in advanced containment systems for the pharmaceutical sector. You'll report directly to the MD and take full ownership of the design engineering process - overseeing product innovation, worldwide installations, and technical excellence aligned with commercial goals.Key ResponsibilitiesLead, develop, and align the engineering team with manufacturing, sales, and distribution strategiesPlan and manage projects - from feasibility and resource planning to installation, testing, and maintenanceCreate and maintain designs, patents, and technical documentationCollaborate with Sales to define project specifications and contractsDrive product compliance (CE, EU/US standards) and troubleshoot quality, safety, and operational issuesSpearhead improvements in design-for-manufacture and introduce new technologiesRepresent the company at customer sites, trade shows, and eventsAbout YouChartered Engineer with a BSc or MSc in Mechanical Engineering (or related field)Technical experience in pharmaceutical isolator systems or similar manufacturing environmentsStrong background in product safety and semi-automated industrial operationsProven leadership skills - able to coach, inspire, and mentor a growing teamExcellent problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvementWhy This Role?This is more than just a job - it's your opportunity to shape how products are designed and built on a global scale.
