- Recruiting, training, and supervising a team of peer mentors to deliver daily online recovery sessions.
- Managing rotas, arranging cover, and ensuring the smooth running of the online programme.
- Providing line management support to the Recovery Navigator.
- Building partnerships with treatment providers, lived experience recovery organisations (LEROs), 12-step fellowships (AA, NA, CA), and other community groups.
- Creating strong referral pathways from treatment services into recovery communities.
- Encouraging clients to engage with wider Forward Trust initiatives, such as Forward Connect, More Than My Past, and Addiction Awareness Week.
- Supporting the collection and reporting of data to evidence outcomes and sustain long-term programme delivery.
- Experience in recruiting, coaching, and supervising volunteers.
- Experience of facilitating groups or delivering group training.
- Strong ability to engage effectively with people in recovery.
- Knowledge of the voluntary sector, mentoring programmes, and service user-led groups.
- Self-motivation and the ability to work both independently and as part of a small team.
- Effective influencing and negotiating skills.
- Strong IT skills, including use of Microsoft Office and databases.
- Experience of collecting and reporting data for monitoring and audit purposes.
- Demonstrable experience of remote working.
- Understanding of, and sensitivity to, diversity and equality issues.
- Commitment to the recovery agenda and the role of lived experience in supporting change.
