This is an exciting opportunity for an immediately available finance professional to join a dynamic and supportive environment, with a strong possibility of the role becoming permanent.The Role:This position sits within the finance team and primarily focuses on purchase ledger responsibilities, with additional exposure to bank reconciliations and month-end support. It's a hands-on role ideal for someone looking to grow their skills in a fast-paced business.Key Responsibilities:Processing high-volume purchase invoicesSupplier statement reconciliationsPreparing and processing payment runsDealing with supplier queries in a professional and timely mannerAssisting with bank and account reconciliationsSupporting the finance team with month-end processesOther ad hoc finance duties as requiredThe Ideal Candidate:Immediately available or on a very short notice periodProven experience in purchase ledger / accounts payableStrong attention to detail and good organisational skillsComfortable working in a high-volume environmentConfident with MS Excel and finance systems (experience with ERP systems a plus)Team player with a proactive attitudeRemuneration:£13 - £15 per hour (dependent on experience)Holiday PayOn-site working with some hybrid working available (Ely office)Robert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
