Working on behalf of one of the world's leading aerospace and defence organisations, every shift is a new chance to learn, grow, and make a difference.Due to the nature of the site, an additional level of security clearance is required. Therefore, applicants must be a British National and have lived in the UK for at least 5 years. This is essential to meet the specific security requirements of the role.This isn't just another job. It's your opportunity to step into a role as a Dedicated Security Officer where your potential is recognised, your contribution is valued, and your progress is supported every step of the way.Job DescriptionResponsibilitiesYou'll play a vital part in keeping people, property, and information safe. That includes:
  • Meet, greet and assist visitors/staff/contractors
  • Carry out regular site patrols, focusing on health & safety and security
  • Ensuring compliance with government regulations
  • Assist in an emergency i.e. site evacuation and conduct staff searches where required
  • Always maintain an alert and vigilant approach, to ascertain any potential threats or changes within the work environment and take the appropriate steps to reduce disruption, loss or damage
  • Maintain accurate logs/records of all visitors, staff, contractors, couriers, activities and incidents
  • Ensure that there is a thorough handover after each shift between Security personnel

Ideally, you'll have:
  • A valid SIA licence (DS licence)
  • 1+ year security experience
  • Flexibility to work days, nights, and weekends.
  • The right to work in the UK, with a 5-year checkable history.
  • British nationality and UK residency for the past 5 years (due to site requirements).
  • Strong communication skills in English-both written and spoken.
