Shifts: Monday to Friday starting from 5pm, shifts lasting between 8 and 12 hours
Pay Rate: £18 per hour (Overtime paid at £27 after 8 hours a day)
Newly Qualified Drivers AcceptedWe are looking for dedicated Class 1 Drivers to join our team at our Stowmarket site on a temp to perm basis, for the right candidate.Our client is a third-party provider of transportation and logistics services that offers a range of services from, Drayage, Global freight forwarding & Full truckload transport. The company is committed to environmental sustainability and works with customers to create action plans to reduce emissions.What you'll do on a typical day:
- Single drop trunk work with potentially one return load per evening
- Adhering to road traffic laws
- Daily vehicle checks
- Safely operate your vehicle adhering to XPO standards
- Operating a curtain sider trailer
- We'll need you to have a full UK driving licence (with C+E entitlement)
- You'll have no more than six penalty points on your licence and no DD, DR, IN or CD endorsements.
- A valid CPC and Digital Tacho card
- Excellent knowledge of the UK road network
- Consistent Monday to Friday shift pattern with offered 1.5x overtime rate.
