A degree or equivalent qualification (risk management credentials such as APM Risk Certificate or IRM Certificate are highly desirable). Demonstrated experience delivering risk services on major infrastructure projects in sectors such as rail, transportation, energy, aviation, or utilities. In-depth knowledge of risk management frameworks, including ISO 31000 and methodologies from the Association for Project Management or Institute of Risk Management. Proficiency with enterprise and QRA tools including ARM, Palisade @Risk, Predict!, Xactium and Safran. Strong understanding of how risk integrates with other project controls disciplines including cost, schedule, planning, change, and commercial. Experience facilitating workshops, conducting qualitative risk assessments, and implementing risk mitigation strategies. Familiarity with Value Management techniques and application. A confident, professional communication style with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and collaborate across functions. An analytical, problem-solving mindset, with a proven ability to deliver high-quality work under pressure and against deadlines.
