The marketing team is a small, multi-disciplinary team that at times requires members to take on additional responsibilities to support the delivery of the marketing program. These responsibilities could involve on-site attendance at events, pre-event planning as well as post event evaluation.RESPONSIBILITIES
- Act as the “voice” of our senior executives on LinkedIn.
- Understand the interconnectivity between the master brand profile and executives' personal profiles.
- Ensure messaging, tone, and feel remain connected yet appropriate for each account.
- Maintain a content calendar, develop campaigns and create content across multiple formats and using a range of software solutions.
- Liaise with C-suite executives for content sign-offs and ideation.
- Monitor key trends and metrics and optimize content accordingly.
- Grow individual profiles' followers and connections in a targeted manner.
- Prioritize building the “right” audience of commercial decision-makers over mere growth.
- Develop and “known” performance analytics and reporting.
- Creativity: Creating compelling and visually appealing content is crucial for grabbing attention and engaging users
- Sectoral knowledge: A good understanding of financial services and, in particular, private markets
- Technical experience in Canva, Adobe Illustrator and Microsoft Planner an advantage
- Communication & collaboration skills: Since the role requires frequent interaction with the audience and senior stakeholders, strong written and verbal communication skills are essential
- Analytical abilities: Understanding and interpreting data helps Social Media Managers refine strategies and demonstrate the impact of their work
- Platform knowledge: Staying ahead of trends and algorithm changes to maximize effectiveness of content and engagement efforts
- Adaptability: Confidence writing long and short form content, as well as supporting wider team efforts
- Time management: Balancing content creation, community engagement, and strategy planning requires strong organizational skills.
