- To support students with their learning in the classroom
- Assist with bridging any gaps in their development and education
- Encourage students to achieve their goals - both academic and personal
- Facilitate a positive environment to help make students learning concrete
- Assist the class teacher with general support in the classroom - this can be helping prepare lessons, tidy up afterwards, provide general supervision over the classroom
- Will have some experience working with children in a classroom setting
- Will be patient, proactive and passionate about making a difference
- Will be calm and positive - be able to easily build relationships with the children
- Understand the importance of Safeguarding
- Have a DBS or be willing to obtain one
