Employees with us receive a wide range of benefits including well-being in work, financial benefits, ways of working and learning and development support.Making A Difference as A General Kitchen Assistant in School Traded Services.St Helens Council are looking to recruit a number of General Kitchen Assistants to cover for absences and vacancies within the Cleaning, Caretaking, School Crossing Patrol and Catering Service.The hours of duty could vary between 5 and 20 per week dependent upon the vacancy you will be asked to cover. These hours are Term Time Only and normally worked between the hours of 11.00am and 2.00pm.Duties include preparing and serving food, washing dishes and cleaning the kitchen/dining rooms after service.Staff appointment will not be site specific. You will be employed on a temporary contract and will be asked to work at any school or council establishment within a reasonable distance of your home.
