General Operative

• Using reach and counterbalance trucks to un-load,load,move materials on and off racking. Wrapping, packing and un-packing finished and incoming goods. Mostly engineered products, cranks, blocks, heads and other engine parts etc.
• Use of component washing machines and packaging equipment.
• General housekeeping of work area and routine machine maintenance/safety checks.
• Maintain standards of health, safety and hygine in the workplace including the yard areas
• Participate in continuous improvement activities

• Familiar with and engineering environment.
• Fork lift truck or reach truck, RTITB or ITSAR Licence.
• Understand HSEQ Standards & requirements. Ensuring safe working systems and practices are followed using permit to work and lock out tag out systems
• Good standard in maths and english
• Have an ability to work to a high standard of quality
