Humanities subjects play a vital role in helping children understand the past, present, and future-preparing them to become informed and responsible global citizens.Role & Responsibilities:
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons across the Humanities curriculum (History, Geography, RS or related subjects).
  • Foster an environment that encourages discussion, debate, and independent thinking.
  • Inspire students to connect classroom learning with real-world issues.
  • Monitor, assess, and support pupil progress effectively.
  • Promote cultural awareness, empathy, and respect for diversity.
  • Maintain high standards of behaviour, safeguarding, and inclusion.
  • Contribute to extracurricular activities such as field trips, projects, and enrichment programmes.

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification.
  • Specialism in History, Geography, RS, or a related Humanities subject.
  • Strong subject knowledge and passion for Humanities.
