Our Children's Services have been judged Outstanding by Ofsted and we are continuing to move forward to keep improving our standards of practice and response to Children and Families. Merton’s Leaders are committed and focused on supporting our staff and families and keeping children and young people at the heart of our work.You will work with families where there is a high level of need, you will be expected to support and mentor less experienced members of staff in the team, and act as practice educator for ASYEs. You will be able to supported to undertaken your PEPs training and supervise a student. The CSW is a key role to supporting practice and you will be invited to lead in a practice area of your choice in line with Merton's practice framework.In Merton we have a blended practice model which combines Systemic Practice, Relationship Based Social Work and Signs of Safety and is embedded throughout all of our work with Children and Families. To apply for the role of Consultant Social Worker you will need to be a qualified social worker, registered with Social Work England and with relevant experience and knowledge in leading practice and enabling others to develop and deliver statutory safeguarding services and high impact and quality services to children and families.
