CarmichaelUK are seeking a Site Engineer with structures and RC frame experience to join a Tier 1 Contractor on the HS2 project in the Northamptonshire region. This is an excellent opportunity to work on one of the most ambitious infrastructure projects in Europe, with a strong pipeline of long-term work.Key ResponsibilitiesSetting out and surveying for structural and RC frame worksPreparing and checking technical documentation, drawings, and site reportsEnsuring works are delivered to specification, quality standards, and programme requirementsLiaising with Section Engineers, Agents, designers, and subcontractors to coordinate site activitiesCarrying out quality checks, producing ITPs and maintaining as-built recordsSupporting with material requisitions, permits, and method statementsMonitoring health, safety and environmental compliance on siteAssisting with progress reporting and providing technical input to solve site challengesAbout YouDegree/HNC in Civil Engineering (or equivalent)Proven experience delivering structures and reinforced concrete works on major civil engineering projectsProficient in the use of setting out equipment (Total Station / GPS) and AutoCADGood understanding of UK construction standards and regulationsStrong communication and teamwork skillsCSCS essential, SMSTS and other industry tickets advantageousFull UK driving licence
