We are working with a highly regarded and well-established law firm in Norwich who are looking to strengthen their Private Client team with the appointment of an experienced Solicitor or Lawyer.This is an excellent opportunity for someone with at least 3 years' PQE (or equivalent CILEx experience) to join a practice that is known for its supportive culture, high-quality client work, and strong reputation across the region.You will enjoy a varied and interesting caseload, the chance to build lasting client relationships, and genuine scope to progress your career in a forward-thinking environment.What You'll Be Doing
  • Managing your own caseload of private client matters, including:
  • Wills and succession planning
  • Lasting Powers of Attorney
  • Trust and Estate administration
  • Inheritance Tax and Estate planning strategies
  • Advising on complex estates and trust matters where required
  • Providing clear, practical and tailored advice to clients
  • Developing strong relationships with clients, referrers and professional contacts
  • Collaborating with colleagues across a well-respected Private Client department that spans multiple offices
What We're Looking For
  • Minimum 3 years' PQE (or equivalent CILEx qualification) in private client law
  • Strong technical knowledge of Wills, Probate, LPAs, Tax and Estate Planning
  • Experience using case management systems (e.g. Proclaim, Leap or similar)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport quickly
  • A proactive, team-oriented approach, with the initiative to contribute ideas and improvements
