Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 Basic DOE + OvertimeWe are looking for an experienced Heavy Plant Engineer to join our clients team, based at their Southampton depot. This role offers a competitive salary, overtime opportunities and training.The Role:
- Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a wide range of heavy plant machinery.
- Diagnose and rectify hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical faults.
- Work both independently and as part of a team, ensuring minimal downtime for equipment.
- Provide excellent customer service if attending breakdowns and carrying out scheduled maintenance.
- Complete all necessary documentation and reports efficiently.
- Proven experience as a Heavy Plant Engineer, or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of heavy machinery, including excavators, dump trucks, bulldozers, and telehandlers.
- Ability to diagnose and repair hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical issues.
- A self-motivated and proactive approach to work.
- £40,000 - £45,000 basic salary (dependent on experience).
