Our client is seeking a skilled CAD Technician to join their team. This long-term contract role focuses on key water infrastructure projects, including clean water mains renewals and trunk mains, particularly for Thames and Affinity AMP8 projects. With a start date in September, this role offers hybrid and flexible working arrangements.Key Responsibilities:
  • Utilising AutoCAD and Civil 3D software to produce detailed design drawings
  • Supporting the delivery of clean water, mains renewals, and trunk mains projects
  • Collaborating with engineers and project managers to ensure designs meet project specifications
  • Assisting in the preparation and maintenance of project documentation
  • Conducting quality checks on drawings to ensure accuracy and compliance with standards
  • Engaging in design review meetings and providing technical input
  • Adhering to project timelines and deliverables
  • Supporting the implementation of BIM processes where applicable
Job Requirements:
  • Experience with AutoCAD and Civil 3D
  • Knowledge of CAD principles and standards in the water sector
  • Experience working on projects related to water infrastructure, such as mains renewals and trunk mains
  • Proficiency with Autodesk software
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality drawings
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team
  • Flexibility to work in a hybrid and dynamic environment
Contract Details:
  • Long-term contract position
  • Outside IR35
