This position requires a meticulous Compliance Analyst with a keen interest in financial services, particularly in the payments sector. The successful candidate will be involved in risk and compliance duties, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Ensuring the company's adherence to regulatory standards in the payments sector.
  • Assisting in the development and implementation of compliance policies and procedures.
  • Collating information from reliable sources and identify trends and financial crime risks.
  • Investigate assigned SAR's from relevant person(s) relating to financial crime.
  • Maintaining excellent communication with all stakeholders including banking partners, Customer Service etc.
  • Monitor transaction(s) activity relating to Card payments, ensuring alerts are analysed and actioned in accordance to company procedures
  • Monitor continuous screening for sanctions, PEPs and adverse media
  • Assist with the update of the company's Governance, Risk and Compliance framework. Review the assigned policies and procedures. Propose amendments to the Chief Compliance Officer (MLRO).
Compliance Analyst role within a cross-border Payments firm | Compliance Analyst role based in London - Hybrid workingA successful Compliance Analyst should have:
  • Experience in Financial Services industry e.g., Bank, Authorised Payment Institute (API), Electronic Money Institute EMI) etc.
  • ICA or ACAMS accreditation - highly desirable.
  • Experienced in the payments, prepaid cards or deposits space.
  • Knowledge and experience in the regulatory requirements, relating to Cards products and schemes e.g. Mastercard, UnionPay, Visa etc.
  • Creating, assessing, and implementing policies into the Compliance framework.
The client is a cross-border payments business who provide services to both corporate clients and retail/individual clients.
  • A competitive salary at circa £45,000, dependent on experience.
