In this role, you'll bridge the gap between technical capabilities and business opportunities, working with engineering, marketing, and sales teams to deliver compelling API solutions to our B2B customers.Key Responsibilities
  • Own the API product roadmap and strategy, aligning it with company objectives and market needs.
  • Collaborate with other product leads to define internal API opportunities to elevate the platform.
  • Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and customer/internal feedback to identify new API opportunities.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to define technical requirements and prioritize features.
  • Partner with our tech writer to deliver comprehensive API documentation and developer resources.
  • Monitor API performance metrics and drive continuous improvement.
  • Develop pricing models and go-to-market strategies for API products.
  • Work closely with B2B sales and marketing to articulate API value propositions and drive adoption.
Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of product management experience, with specific focus on API products
  • Strong technical background with hands-on experience in API product management, development, integration or implementation
  • Excellent understanding of SCIM, OpenAPI, REST, GraphQL, webhooks, and API authentication methods
  • Experience with API lifecycle management tools and developer portals
  • Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision making
  • Exceptional communication skills, with ability to translate technical concepts to business stakeholders
  • Proven track record in B2B product management or customer-facing technical roles
Preferred Qualifications
  • Technical degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
  • Experience with API monetization strategies and pricing models
  • Knowledge of API security best practices and compliance standards
  • Understanding of developer experience (DX) principles
  • Experience with developer advocacy or technical marketing
  • Familiarity with API documentation tools and standards (OpenAPI, Swagger)
  • Experience delivering Integrations via API
