.Scope and Purpose
  • Assist senior bankers to support origination activities by preparing marketing materials (pitches, internal and external decks)
  • Conduct financial and credit analyses for M&A, LBOs, and financing transactions
  • Collaborate closely with key departments within the Intesa Sanpaolo Group, such as Credit, Legal, Compliance, Industry and Product teams (i.e., Leveraged Acquisition Finance, DCM, ECM, M&A)
  • Participate in client meetings to drive new business development and identify potential lending and cross-selling opportunities
  • Support and assist execution teams during credit approval processes
  • Assist with execution of NDAs, compliance monitoring for sensitive transactions, database and CRM (Salesforce) updates
Required Experience1-2 years in Banking Industry in a similar positionRequired Qualifications, Skills and Knowledge
  • Degree in Finance & Economics
  • Knowledge of financial analysis
  • Analytical skills and ability to understand and exploit financial information and databases
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and external info providers, including Factset, Moody's, Pitchbook, Bloomberg, Mergermarket
  • Commercial awareness
  • Right to work in UK
